My parents went home for the weekend and I caught up with housework, sleep and DVD's

Did anyone else have mad weather for half an hour last night? I was watching Hugh, when I realised that is was blowing up a gale and hailing/sleeting like heck. It hammered down for 20-30 minutes, with hail rattling down the stove flue

We got it about an hour after you Clare.

I was up in bed & it was so loud on the roof - really quite frightening

Half an hour it went on all night

 

Quite a drive in this morning trees down all over the place

It's still blowing a gale here! It started about 9pm last night, and is forecast to continue till well into this afternoon. It's bin day, and there is wheelie bins blowing about the place, and trees down all over.

 

At least the driving rain has stopped for just now.

My bin day was last Friday

 

Swines never came and emptied it after the snow started to clear and with 3 adults in the house and Christmas New Year visitors etc it is full with a bag still to go in I can't wait till friday

We had a horrible wild night last night and got woken up a few times - one of the neighbours' tiles came off and my girls' rain cover is all torn .
