Might have to try a roll away myself. Someone keeps eating my eggs. Bimble has been laying in a bush and I've let her so that Bamboozle doesn't get her naughty beak on it. I've tried a rubber egg and a mustard egg but still no cure

I don't think I could kill my chook just because she eats her eggs!!!

I've been putting plastic and ceramic eggs in the nest box, and so far so good, had all the eggs intact in the last four days... there are ways to sort this problem without resorting to destroying a bird, especially a well loved pet...

 

Someone across the road has just had his 4 chickens culled because of this, I admit I did think it was a bit exteme! He's a proper county bloke though, so probably a lot less sentimental than me!
