meezers
What about ' Pancaking' ? not sure it's been used on here, but we use it (everyday at the moment) to describe our broody silkie in the nestbox - ie,' Muppet is pancaking again'. She sort of flattens herself and spreads out like pancake to cover her many imaginary eggs Also ' flumping' - same sort of thing, but when a broody collapses onto the run floor after you've turfed her out of the nestbox. As in ' Muppet, stop flumping and get up'.
