New site is very And they have the ladies fleeces back in stock in size 8!!! Mum and Dad were gonna get me one for Christmas but they had sold out in my size so i just ordered myself one as a late christmas present from the dog...

Buffie, can I get a BHWT cardboard collecting box? I want to have a proper donation box for when I give away eggs. (Do you know what I mean? I've had one from The Children's Society, Mercy Ships, Send a Cow and currently Church Urban Fund)

It looks very good Buffie and is easy to navigate and not too graphic intense-meaning it's relatively quick on our slow old computer!

Collection boxes would be a wonderful idea. The website is wonderful - love the hen of the month, the egg custard tart story made me choke back the tears - the poor little girl! It would be good if they had a bit more merchandise, as not everyone can offer a home to ex batts & some people already have a bag, keyring & sonsor a hen. I'm not sure what other merchandise they could sell - but to have a bit more to buy with the logo on would be lovely!

Maybe a different coloured fleece or a range of various coloured t shirts for the summer!!

Thank you! A downloadable template for the box would be good. I could print or stick it onto card. The Mercy Ships box came as a 'flat-pack'.

Also on your map with rescue co-ordinators could it be a bit more precise and say which bit of the county it's in-say Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Or whether they're south of the county or something.

I'd like a cardboard box to put change in - I know some of my kids would too. 2 of my year 10 class told me they already had HFW set up on record for tonight and several of the others said they would watch and try and get their parents to watch.

 

I did warn them it may contain some very upsetting scenes of animal cruelty but that this is everyday stuff these poor birds go through (rather hoping not to get calls from irate parents tomorrow - wondering how this links into the ICT curriculum)

 

Just to cover my back I linked it to the curriculum today - these kids needed to compare some website designs so I sent them to BHWT, Jamie O and HFW!

At the last bit...you can't go as off topic as my lovely mad ICT teacher does though, she started talking about these long and old words and seeing if people knew what they meant. She's lovely though!
