Ain't Nobody Here
Here are my girls. Sporting this season's must have fluffy headgear we have Maisie, the Columbine (green eggs ). Showing that brown is indeed the new black, we have Milly, the Rhode Island Red. And lastly, trying to prove that, no, black is and always has been the new black, we have Molly the Pied Suffolk (freeloading non-layer )

CatsCube
If your after layers your really wanting hybrid then, easy to look after and pretty hardy. White Stars and Columbnes/Jasmines are a little flighty generally and they are breed from leghorns and Araucanas which are flighty, but you get white and green/blue eggs from them. My Bluebells have normally been the friendliest (and prettiest), but you will find Blackrocks (pepper pots), Gingernut/Calder Rangers, Speckledys etc all pertty friendly, they are all more distructive than a lot of purebreeds but if your keeping them in a run with a paved base that wont be an issue. A couple of questions, what do you mean by flighty? And when you say destructive what do they destroy? Apologies for my ignorance but I'm new to all this and eager to learn! Ain't Nobody Here
Great picture ANH! How on earth did you get them to pose like that? I'm amazed! Thank you! I plonked them on the sofa (that's not my throw, it's MIL's old bed cover ) then snapped a few pictures. Not got a single one of all three looking up . I could never get a good picture of all three in the garden at once, that's why we tried it indoors!
