Joolsgee
Hi, we have a eglu go up coop that is 22 months old. It is already badly faded. Has anyone found anything to restore the colour please?
Beantree
The colour is created by adding a pigment in the plastic, so once faded it can't be restored. However it may be possible to paint it, but you will need to contact Omlet about that. Some plastics won't accept paint at all without a very complex priming system (flame oxidation). You will certainly need to do some preparation and use special paint, because if it doesn't adhere properly it will just peel off. I think there has been a painted coop on the forum before, a few years ago? Find out exactly what plastic it is and I may be able to help on the technical side? DanTheChickenMan
I would recommend a vinyl wrap
