craftyhunnypie
I've read somewhere recently of mixing a couple of alpacas in with your flock of free range chickens, as they fight of Mr Foxy Loxy!!! Apparently they are very very protective towards the hens, so foxy stays away. Ooo I like Alpacas, just need some more land!! Emma.x
little chickadee
I read that in the Waitrose magazine. i think it was Clarence Court Eggs. They have Cream Legbars and Burford Browns (gorgeous gorgeous eggs)

craftyhunnypie
GOrgeous aren't they! A friend of mine once had a Llama - he lost a bet down the pub & ended up with this damn Llama called George. It was a little devil....it hissed, escaped & jumped the fence - ate everything! But it was a real talking point. I still laugh about it now! Emma.x
Egluntyne
They spit...like camels!
UkButton
I think it was reported in one of our local papers. The Alpacas can't be too tame though as they lose their aggression... Collecting eggs would be fun . Aparently they headbut!
Lewis
They do spit, I think the 'posh' word is wiffle( will find out). I have also heard about Alpacas being kept with goat and sheep in fields to keep fox's away.
