Ms Tilytinkle
Goooood Afternoon ladies, Well, we opted for the most safe boring green, same principle so it would er fit in more with the trees, lawn etc .. .hmmm yawn . .then partner in crime hubby came up with bright idea . .you like painting . .can't you watercolour, antique or camouflage it with your acryllics . .. i wasn't actually that upset about the green !! Sooooo, artistic licence . . graffiti cube .. hmmm will have to be tasteful incase we ever wish to sell up so perhaps slight camouflage will suffice...or actually maybe we should just go for it .. tee hee I love the orange & purple ones . . just read read somewhere on another post, about taking time to put all together !!!!!!!! Yikes i assumed cube is put together/ installed on delivery etc for us . .thought it was part of the purchase & package deal that they set it all up . . i do hope so!!!!!! Tessa the Duchess
I guess I have been forced into the boring old green When I was choosing my Eglu colour last year I had already decided I wanted 'boring old green' because it would fit in with the garden and DH was in complete agreement. We both thought it would be the most popular Eglu colour choice. I was amazed when I started using this forum that the really bright colours were the most popular Tessa

Eyren
I went for green as well - our garden is very small and mostly greens and browns (fences and foliage plants), so a splash of pink or purple (not that they had purple ones back then) would have really looked obtrusive. Good luck with your cube!

chelsea
our 1st eglu was green for the same reason (to blend in with the garden!) We ordered another one in bright orange last year and the orange is fab I love it more than the green its a really zesty orange and really compliments the green plants. If I was getting a cube I would get orange!
Olly
Mine was ordered by friends, and they chose purple - I did have the chance to change it, but felt it would look a bit ungrateful. I thought it looked a bit out of place, until my Jackmannii clematis bloomed in the summer - suddenly I realised that it was a perfect match, and that purple against green leaves, grass etc. is entirely natural. The green one was second-hand, it's quite a pleasant colour, but give me any time! I'm getting ready to order a now!
