Janty
We have finally bit the bullet and let all the girls out together ... bantams, ex-batts and the big girls. No major problems and they all seem quite happy.

Egluntyne
How did you get them into the right cube Janty. Mine knew instinctively which Eglu to go into last night, but tonight there was a few moments.......erm....confusion. I managed to sort it out.....eventually. Janty
Fluffy bums it is... and... and... and... and finally... The top two are my mini fluffy bums. I know that the lavender pekin doesn't look very lavender coloured but she is a mucky devil.

Janty
How did you get them into the right cube Janty. Mine knew instinctively which Eglu to go into last night, but tonight there was a few moments.......erm....confusion. I managed to sort it out.....eventually. I didn't have to do anything to get them into the right cube or eglu. The bantams automatically strut back to their eglu about an hour before anybody else is ready to go to bed. The ex-batts are usually next. Although the ex-batts are happy to let the others use their run, they do not like any other hen using their cube. Finally the big girls go to bed....the brahmas give up long before any of the others and the three of them go up the ladder together.
