Tessa the Duchess
Is there any kind person on this forum who is a solicitor, conveyencer, or who is very knowledgeable about property law? To be more specific laws regarding shared freeholds. I don't expect free legal advice but I would be very grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction. I do not want to clutter up the forum with my boring problem, so PM me if you feel you could help. Thankyou Tessa
Janty
I can't help, I'm afraid but whatever the problem, I hope that you find a solution. Best wishes, Jan

Ain't Nobody Here
If no-one here can help, I've got a friend who's a conveyancing solicitor. In Scotland, though, so that might not help at all .

Egluntyne
Is it something your Citizens Advice Bureau can help with? Give them a ring and ask.
Tessa the Duchess
Is it something your Citizens Advice Bureau can help with? Give them a ring and ask. Oh probably, but you have to faff around and make an appointment. It is just that I do remember a couple of people helping others with legal problems on this forum, so I thought I would give it a whirl. "Ooops, word censored!"ody has PM'd me yet, but I'll hang on and see if somebody pops up Tessa

Janty
I have never known such a group of people who pull together and support each other even though they do not really know each other.
The Dogmother
It never ceases to amaze me too Janty... some of the things we have been through together. I have made some very good and close friends on this forum.
Ain't Nobody Here
Funny, whenever I tell someone about something I've read on here I say "someone on the forum" but I was thinking today I often feel like saying "a friend of mine said". I feel like you're all my friends .
Snowy
Funny, whenever I tell someone about something I've read on here I say "someone on the forum" but I was thinking today I often feel like saying "a friend of mine said". I feel like you're all my friends . Most people I know wouldn't have a clue what I was on about if I mentioned a forum. I always say "A friend of mine ..." And surely that is what we are - if friends are people you spend time with, share interests with and allow you to be yourself; give honest advice and are non judgemental. Listen to me, gettin' all sentimental
Egluntyne
I found myself saying " a friend of mine" not so long ago too to a colleague.. If I'd mentioned the forum and the hen connection they'd have looked at me gone daft. "A friend of mine" covered it nicely anyway.
Olly
I'm ALWAYS saying 'a friend told me ...' or 'someone said the other day ...' my forum addiction is a bit of a joke amongst my other friends, so I've stopped mentioning it! Glad you got some help, Tessa.
