Helen&Lee
A few years ago we had a customer who wanted a Double Storey Playhouse. Nothing unusual there as its what we do - then he mentioned it was for his ducks.... It wasn't just the shape of the house that he wanted - he was insistant on having the planed frame, crossbars in the windows, bed area (with ladder ) Then on the day we delivered we had to bring it back to make an alteration... he wanted the windows at the sides at 'duck height' so they could see out! My father-in-law's face was priceless Helen

Helen&Lee
How much profit do you reckon is to be had on one of those? On the Heytesbury stuff? I think you are right Egluntine, most of it is pure profit - the bird table at £763 can surely only be about £150 - £200 inc labour to produce, and I'm being super generous there because of the Oak and Lead I don't know what materials they use for the Chicken house but it does seem pretty steep They probably do enough at the Chelsea Flower Show to take them through the year Fair Play though, I wish I could produce a product for the ultra niche market.... ooh what about the Emperors New Clothes Helen

MedusA
£3,290.00 !!!!! good grief My thoughts exactly, Poet. Some people have more money than sense! And people criticise Eglu owners for having more money than sense and wanting to be trendy. I don't think I've been called "trendy" in years!!!
