so, Mother's Day, what are you buying?

Recommended Posts

thanks guys :D Not sure about going into business, it took me most of the day to make everything

Normally we'd buy flowers but they're just so bloomin' expensive (pardon the pun) and money is tight at the mo.

The box and jars came to £4.09 per mum plus the cost of the ingredients so I'd say we spent under £10 each mum easy.

I enjoyed doing it anyway and we've got some left over shortbread and lemon curd for us as I over estimated on quantities ;)

Poet - that's a wonderful gift idea, great inspiration for an Easter Nest Hamper Box,which would include the girls fresh eggs in addition to some homebakes.

I love the labels too

Got to hunt for some nice recipes now.

Stuck to flowers this year but purchased early and arranged myself

Lovley idea.

I bought my mum a yankee candle and a shade for the top. I rang her this morning and she said thankyou its lovley but what is it!

I had my suspicions that she would not know what to do with it!

She thought the shade was a candle holder that she did not have the right candle size to fit it.

I wonder if I had left her to it what she would have come up with!

She is now enlightened, and happy with her pressy.

Also bought her a couple of bunches of daffs.

We got m.in.law a cd of 50's hits and some smellies.
