Hellcat
The kids seem to like using it as a climbing frame/launch pad for their games etc. I have now given up on the 'it'll break you know' comments, as it hasnt yet!
Cate in NZ
Yes, and then once babe is born you could always take the lid off the eglu, turn it upside down, (make sure the eggport door is tightly closed ) and use it as an impromptu cradle I'm sure the curved design would perform a lovely gentle rock
motherhen
So if you subtract the cost of a swiss ball, climbing frame and baby cradle (rocking) from the cost of an eglu it is getting seriously cheap to buy one
Guest
Chookiehubbie uses our as a rest to put his motorcycle helmet and gloves on when he comes in and out, and Mog the mouser uses it as a launch pad to get into next doors garden.
Happymama
Free range organic eggs in the supermarket are £1.45 per 6, so it's a bargain. And once they tasted fresh eggs and seen how dark yellow the yolk can be, they keep coming back for more! I gift our surplus eggs to prospective baby/dog/cat/hensitters (it's working, too!) and one of the prospectives gave an egg to a friend of hers who's two year old likes the boiled variety for breakfast. She wouldn't eat it - said the yolk was the wrong colour! Hope her mother was - she should be! DH bought a pickled egg (yuk) in a pub not so long ago, and the yolk was indistinguishable from the white. I promise. I buy the dented tins of sweetcorn from the supermarket 'dented tin' shelf for an average of 14p each - a MASSIVE saving!
