peckham
Does anyone know where I can get non-homogenised milk - I live in Sheffield. .. I never expected the eggs to taste so good, but they reminded me of eggs from childhood, and I would like to find that lovely creamy milk we use to have delivered... to give to my little ones.. Thanks
Guest
I hate to say this, but Tesco sells non-homogenised milk.

KateB
Bear in mind I know virtually nothing about milk but I'm sure someone on another forum said that organic milk was non-thingermejigged....
Mel (& Paul)
"Rachel's" organic milk is not homogenised - we get ours from Waitrose. I think Tescos and Sainsburys stock it too (although if I do ever venture into T and S they have the labels, but there is never any stock Rachels is lovely and creamy - even the semi skimmed
Lesley
Co Op sell organic milk and also our local Farm Shop sells local milk which is not homogenised.
Cate in NZ
My milkman delivers me Rachels Organic milk........ he's slightly more expensive per pint than any of the supermarkets but he turns up day in day out, always has a smile and a wave, and because I use him and shop locally wherever possible I don't end up going to the dreaded supermarkets too often at all. So, I'd suggest....... ask your milkman
The Dogmother
Rachel's organic is the best, and so's their rice pudding! When I was preggers I had a craving for creamy gold top milk and got that from the supermarket (shhhhh!) couldn't drink it now - way too fatty for my taste. Mel (& Paul)
And the advantage of Rachels is that if you put the bar code into her website the company sends a cow to Africa for ever so many bar codes
Guest
But it all has the same bar code, so if you have more than one e-mail address, you can register quite a few times for even more votes..... or e-mail your friends with the bar code and ask them to do it. chocchick
What is non-homogenised milk? Dawn, do you go to Tescos on Infirmary Road?
The Dogmother
If I remember right Choccy, homogenised is when the milk is all mixed together so that the creamy part doesn't seperate out. I may weel be wrong, though
Mel (& Paul)
Nope you are right (about the homog. milk and me being on the stage...........)

Louise
Yeah and squabbling with my brother over who got the first bit out of the bottle on your cereal Then being miffed when mother shook the bottle to mix it so neither of us got it
