craftyhunnypie
What a fab trike Helly! Wow that basket is big enough to put a dog in or even a baby!!! I'd be tempted in the summer months to load a picnic basket in that basket and find a quiet spot all to myself. I love the colour of it too! It's a beast! Helly Welly
That is soooooo coooooool. You must cutomise it. I thought it was hard naming chooks but now you've got to name the super trike. Look out Formula 1 here she comes. vrooooooooooooooooooom The trike has already been named. The old one was called Claude, this one is called Monty. And before you ask, i have no idea why, it's just the name that popped into my head when i looked at it Tessa, the battery is housed under the basket so it doesn't affect the stability at all. Olly
Wow that basket is big enough to put a dog in or even a baby!!! ... or a chicken! It looks gorgeous - how lovely for you to be able to whizz past people, and go whereever you want. I do love it when a plan works out! little chickadee
wow that's brilliant. I'm so pleased for you. My Hubbie thinks one of these might be a better Idea for me than the one I've got, as I could just sit on it for a while if I was tired. Will pm you for details to investigate. little chickadee
Reserved it - it's brilliant!! Got totally lost on the way there though because my brother has my sat nav. It's a 5 speed silver one It just makes so much more sense than my other electric bike because I can sit down when I'm stationary and it has the option of being totally powered by the battery, which my other one doesn't. I'm picking it up next wednesday with the trailer.

Olly
What a great photo! Your DS looks quite at home snuggled up in there. How lovely for you to be able to go out and about, and for him to rest his legs. You could get a lot of chickens in a basket that size! Sorry, did I say chickens? I meant shopping, of course. The Dogmother
Brilliant photo LC - and he's not a tiny lad either, so it must be a huge basket. I'd love to cycle along with a basket full of hens - wouldn't that look just great? It's so good that you can get around under your own steam now and without collapsing under the strain How long does the charge last?
little chickadee
I'm not sure yet re the charge Claret - it still seemed to have plenty of battery left after a long trip. All the pedestrians were exhausted!! You're right he's not a small lad - the basket is HUGE!!
The Dogmother
Hmmm, I wonder whether you could trickle charge the battery from a smallish solar panel - Phil would know, i'll ask him. Sorry, my eco-firendly mind wokring overtime and wondering if it's possible.. The Green Shop sell a car battery trickle charger and I bet the battery on your lovely trike is the same.... Hmmmm Does the trike have a bell? "triing, triiing!"
little chickadee
Ah - I understand the link you tried to send me about the charger now - I thought it was intended for someone else The trike does indeed have a bell - not terribly loud though
