chook norris
hiya guys, thought i'd post the photos of the process of getting the ladies from the very start to their first free range day! we've only had the girls for 5 days but anyone who's thinking about getting chooks we reckon it's not as scary as it seems! the run is 5m by 1.8m. anyone living in the bristol area we recommend fountain timber in brockley combe, very friendly and pretty cheap

AJuff
Super pictures, you have been busy! What I can't understnd is how your girls stay in your garden. My girls are fenced in by 6ft fences and they still escape. A hedge like yours and they'd be visiting next door for tea!

chook norris
Thanks for all the lovely posts guys . The ladies are slowly becoming used to us and more importantly Oliver the cat! We are now just hoping that the girls don't mind a bit of wind, what with the awful weather warnings here in the west country. We'll keep you posted on how they get on!
