(anyone else want to do the adding up - to counter Helen's vicious rumours about my dodgy maths!! :shock: .... I DO have a maths degree!

 

am happy to continue as normal..

 

but, Helen suggests a pre-season prediction extra - where we predict FA Cup winners etc... I'm happy to arrange this - extra points added to your table total at the end of the season......

and here's a round up of the comings and goings at our featured clubs...

 

Wolves...

 

Freddy Eastwood is supposed to be off to Coventry - but seems he doesn't fancy it - cos he wants to stay at wolves - but they are getting fed up and want rid of him now - and coventry are well p'd off and may sign Clinton Morrison instead... poor Freddy....

 

Wolves wanted Aaron McClean from the Posh - but the Posh wanted £5million (hahahah!!!) and Wolves offered £1million (cheapskates) - so... no deal!

 

Wolves did sign Dave Jones from Derby though - so that's OK then :D

Jussi has signed a new contract after fannying around for months... and looks like we'll keep Al Habsi too.

 

Juffy told us all he was off - but it seems his mobile has been rather quiet - so maybe he'll stay!! (or maybe we can flog him to Spurs or West Ham - they all like an over-priced midfielder/striker!)

This is Worcester City's "Big News".

 

Various people :wink: have got a consortium of business peolpe together who hope to "Over Throw" the current Board of Directors. An EGM has been called for by the required number of shareholders (more than 10%) and a date for the EGM is expected any day.

 

Also if you look at the "link" below you'll see a flyer for a gig I'm organising for Worcester City Supporters Trust.

It's a "Dress Rehersal" for the Festival @ "Claret's" in August (17th-20th).

Sold about 200 of the 250 capacity. (I'm not going !!! on my holidays).

 

"Take the 5th" (Clash tribute band) are as good as it gets. 3 years running they've been the headline act at "Strummercamp" a 3 day Clash festival in Manchester.

 

Last November they supported Billy Bragg and The Specials at 5th anniversary concert of Joe Strumers death at Acton Town Hall and original Clash member Mick Jones joined them for the encore.

Non league fixtures for next season published today.

 

Bognor Regis (Away) first match, must be close to 400 mile round trip from Worcester.

Weston-Super-Mare (2nd Away game) August bank holiday weekend.

 

Should be good going to the "seaside" every other Saturday in August for football :wink:

 

15th November... Thurrock - just up the road.... you'd be most welcome 8) (no sea-side though!)

So any of your lots teams got new kits coming out? We have - this is ours and very classic and stylish it is to... Bit like the football we play really... :wink:

Ours is released today.... changed the logo from the txt-speak Rbk to Reebok - but the shirt is rubbish - looks like it was designed by a primary school competition.... maybe it was! and they seem to have given Cahill one to model that is clearly too small.... :roll:

 

still - the shorts are the old dark navy blue shorts we have been campaigning for for so long........

Well, Villa have obviously launched the nicest pair of kits in the league this season judging by what has already appeared on here. I like the new blue away kit, very different to the white and yellow ones we normally have. We had a blue one a few years back though, but it wasn't liked, probably because of the ludicrous sponsor logo on the front!

Villa made the major signing of the season so far with the coup of Steve Sidwell from Chelsea, not a big signing, but he is capable of doing a job if and when needed. The papers are suggesting he is a direct replacement for Gareth Barry, like a lot of fans.. I hope not. :S

 

I am also up for the Carling Cup, F.A cup etc. prediction at the beginning of the season.

I quite like the away one Martin. Home kit is a bit boring though. :wink:

 

Myself, DH and Gooner Boy (aka my bro, Tom) went to the home of football for a tour today and then round the museum. Was a fab day and the boys are a bit better educated now about the worlds best ever football team! Took some piccies of course! :)

8) ...couldn't be nearer! It's the one thing around here that's easy to get to!

 

Literally 5 mins. Turn left out of the station front, then the park is just across the next road.

 

Ask anyone for Clarence Park, the stadium is just over the far end of the small parkgrounds.

 

St.Albans is only 20 mins on a fast train from St.Pancras, so it could really work well for you.

 

Er, suppose you'll be singing Manilow songs in the stadium? :lol:
