Guest
anyway - here's the right-up-to-the-minute, updated prediction league table...... Phil - 161 Helen - 159 Debs -153 Chelsea - 142 Martin – 140 Dan – 127 Clash – 127 Emma - 124 Tom - 112 Lorna - 98 Annie - 62 Ali - 58 All change at the top - with the Princess pacing herself just right.... (actually, the Princess was top with a massive lead of 4 until this weekend - when Helen fought back with a top score of 8 to the Princess's 6) Debs is fading after a very promising start, Martin is in the kind of nondescript Villa-esque position of neither-here-nor-there.... Dan and Clash - neck and neck - fighting for male pride (Dan's challenge to the household prediction pants is all but over!) AnnieP is off the bottom!!! Three more sets of predictions to go.......... plenty left to fight for... The Princess.... (looking coy...)

chelsea
Im not counting my chickens for the 2nd leg but that own goal is possibly showing that liverpool's luck in the CL is running out! I believe in karma. We played well in the 1st half but dreadful in the 2nd. We'll beat them 2-1 at the bridge

chelsea
I have a thumping head ache and a sore throat Laura! too much stress in one day - interview then tense footy match so I know exactly how Ross feels. I havent completely written off Liverpool, but I believe this could hopefully be our year even though avram grant is a MUPPET off to bed now. Martin B
Liverpool to win next leg. Even if they don't I bet I recon John Terry will pick up another yellow and miss the final!
Guest
John Arne Riise was stopped by traffic police on a busy dual carriageway section of the A467 last night..... apparently he was heading in the wrong direction...... but seriously... It is SO much fun to hear all those Liverpool fans ranting and raving and crying into their shandy... keep up the good work Chelsea! Jules.
Hubby was rooting for Chelsea. (He's an Evertonian)
chickencam
I feel for Riise, but I had a bad feeling in those last added minutes. This will really fire up Liverpool and they will win at Stamford Bridge. John Terry was very unprofessional last night he made a few cynical tackles during which he gave the other guy an extra shove or nudge for good measure and as for Drogba or however you spell his whinging name Terry should not be England captain. The match was so much better than expected, just a shame about the result. May the best team win next Wednesday
chelsea
Nice one Phil Liz I couldnt see anything wrong with JT last night? I thought defensively we were ok, we played poorly in midfield and up front. I thought JT had one of his better games!! Drogba is v. annoying (and thats coming from a die hard Chelsea fan) ...too much whingeing and complaining for my liking We havent lost at home for 4 years. I can see liverpool scoring at SB but I cannot see Chelsea losing. It may go to penalties (really hope not). Martin I think you could be right about JT and the yellow card though.
