Ain't Nobody Here
Don't want to boast but you may not have seen Maisie and Molly's debut in the Swiftcover advert on Edinburgh buses . Pity they've airbrushed their combs - that's not what they look like in real life . Also a pity they didn't check the copy with me first (see 2nd photo) - what's that supposed to mean . Any ideas? superjules
Hope fame hasn't gone to their heads. Nice to see your chooks on the backs of buses but I see what you mean about the weird slogan!
Ain't Nobody Here
Maybe they mean they're on their last legs (as they'll be out of a job soon) . Why use chickens though - what've they got to do with call centres . Someone got paid to come up with that .
superjules
Someone got paid to come up with that . Marketing - you don't have to be on drugs to work here, but it helps!!
Eyren
Silly advertising people, photoshopping big combs on your hens - that's the chicken equivalent of painting a beard on the Mona Lisa!
superjules
How did they get them to wear those little headphones? (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
Krysia
Thats great Will you get a full size copy of it? Don;t get the slogan either sorry
chocchick
How did they get into that? I would be shouting it from the rooftops if my girls were famous. Do you have any pictures at home (with proper combs)? I thought it was national, and have seen the adverts on billboards.
HasSumAmi
Oh how exciting! Are they Omlet girls? We have the ad running on buses in London with the slogan "no clucking call centres"
Hen Watch
Oh no......... I'm a call centre chicken who went to work today........ Does that mean I'm on my last drum stick??? Or does that mean customers can't understand me because I cluck on the phone too much. Actually that could be true, if someone gets me on the subject of chickens ....well they're in for a long call... PS. Great to see your famous chick pics. feemcg
You nearly had me fooled there V, then I noticed the 'wink' in your first post ....anyway, I've seen pics of your chooks - they're much prettier than that .

Ash
Greenest car insurance ? Hahaha, funny stuff. What a crock of chicken poo. Nice Chooks though, how did you get that to happen ?
Ain't Nobody Here
I must be more plausible than I thought . Sorry to everyone who thinks those are really my chickens . They do actually look a bit like them but I'm sorry to have to tell you that they are just common or garden chickens, not advertising superstars . LJ's Chooks
your's are far cuter that the ones in the ad. What sort are they? I can't wait form my new ones to arrive... i never reallised keeping chickens was so addictive!
Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks LJ . Molly, the black one, is a Pied Suffolk (although someone has suggested she may be a Bovans Nera ) and Maisie is a Columbine (Cream Legbar hybrid) who lays green eggs .
