Couperwife
oooooh, yay good luck. I was in the pet shop today, discussing chickens ( ) and the lady who owns the shop was telling me all about this amazing chicken run that she was going to buy........ from a company called Omlet I told her that she was more than welcome to have a look at one "in the flesh" if she wanted to before she purchased. she was very pleased cathy x

chelsea
- dont forget to shampoo and blow dry the chooks Yes! I did that the day before my hen party it was well worth it. Have you told the visitor to bring their overnight bag?! - Talking chickens is a very lengthy process!!
craftyhunnypie
Our visitors have just gone - I hope I convinced them about how wonderful the eglu is! It was nice to meet Ken & family - maybe we will see them on the forum soon. Audrey & Blanche were very busy wandering in the garden whilst they were here - Blanche helped herself to the sweetcorn & ate out of my hand & Audrey jumped up onto the bench (did her party trick) - well done Audrey. I showed them how the eglu came apart & gave them loads of tips & info. I also showed them the cube too. They are looking more towards an eglu, as they will be first time chicken keepers. The 3 young ones had laid their 3 eggs in the eglu nest box whilst they were here & Rolo's was still warm. Well done chooks! I let them take them home, along with an extra white egg of Smarties from yesterday, all in a nice Omlet box. What was also good, was that one of the older girls had laid a soft egg in the poo tray of the cube. Small & just the membrane holding it together, but at least they got to see what to expect. It was very nice to show my girlies to others &~ I really enjoyed it! Now I wonder what colour eglu they may order? Emma.x
ubereglu
That's great news. You obviously had better weather in Cheshire than we're having here then.
