Mrs Frugal
We can't grow tulips ! The bulbs go in but the flowers don't come out again !
Lesley
Perhaps that's why my tulips aren't out? They've actually disappeared

Lesley
I have lovely small pink tulips!!! - Lauren found them yesterday. It doesn't help if you can't remember where you planted them
SarahJo
Shouldn't that be noted as a senior moment Lesley.
Louise
Forgetting where you plant things is all part of the fun
Lesley
Shouldn't that be noted as a senior moment Lesley. Of course - I'm getting used to it now and so are the rest of the family - they are all well used to doing this

Mrs Frugal
Thanks Sarah and Louise. Not much spare soil in the garden at the moment - runner and french beans everywhere!! There are pots of lettuces, rocket, tomatoes, peppers (sweet and chilli), cucumbers, pumpkins, carrots, courgettes, beans, peas - you name it! For a tiny garden, there's quite a lot of variety - and flowers too ! The nectarine has some lovely fruits coming - should be tasty if they don't drop off ! The Tayberry has lots of fruits on too - can't wait to try them. I'm planning on making Jumbleberry Jam!!!
