there are several threads on here about this. The general consensus many years ago was that it was ok, but times, beliefs and knowledge have changed. Basically rabbits can cause significant internal damage to a guinea pig, both by when they are scared and bang their feet , and also other, more unpleasant ways. Also on a more practical level they need different vitamins in their feed. GPs need a feed high in vit c. Therefore you need to make sure that both the rabbits and GPs are fed (dried) food that is appropriate for them - not something you can do when they are living together.

I have both but they live separately.

My rabbit & guinea pig live happily together and have done for about 6 years. I think you do have to be careful though, I guess I'm just lucky. My rabbit has a lovely personality and is so gentle with the guinea pig. As for food, I just feed a normal dry rabbit food but supplement it with plenty of carrots and cabbage on a daily basis and have never had problems. I used to work with animals so understand their dietry requirements etc are different. I don't really know what to recommend you do but if you're not sure then I'd say keep them seperate and introduce them slowly over a period of time.
