Guest
OK, well how about something that he can keep - my big brother turned 40 last year, and we got him a crystal tankard with an inscription on it, and when my mum turned 60 we got her some custom made wine goblets. When my dad turned 70, we got him a hot-air balloon ride - how about that?
Popcorn
Mum has already bagsied the tankard idea. I got my hubby that for his 30th, and thought it would be a good idea too I did think about hiring a barge for us for the day though. similar to a hot air balloon. Ms Cluck
What does he like - what are his interests if he is in to cars like Ferrari - get in contact with their car club and ask a member if they would take him out for a spin. - We are in the TVR car club and often get these requests - we are all happy to it as its another excuse to get the car out and show off. If yr interested can give you a website for high performance cars - Im sure they would help you out. or what about a collage of photos from when you were little Lyn

Popcorn
I like your car idea! He's a policeman. He's love digging about in the garden. Mum and Dad are getting him a hammock. Loves and plays football. Loves his dog - Blue rowan Cocker Spaniel called Homer. He's sort of your typical man really (and we're on a buget)

Guest
or what about a collage of photos from when you were little Lyn That's a great idea - we did that for my mum - we scanned all the photos of her we could find and printed them out, then cut and pasted away, till we came up with the perfect collage. We also scanned things from her keepsake box - old school reports, letters from my dad, cards we made her, and included things like that as well. It made her cry, so I assume she loved it! Karen & co.
When my brother turned 30, he seemed to have everything so I bought him 30 things beginning with his initial, and these can be as expensive or silly as you like, or a mixture of both!!! All wrapped and put in a brown paper bag! He loved it, trouble is it would be difficult for a Zack I guess Karen x
The Dogmother
I got Phil an aerobatic flight for his 45th and Christmas combined - that was 2 years ago and he's still talking about it! Red Letter Days; are they still going? Try calling an airfield near you to see if they'd do one for you cheaper. We did Phil's at Turweston Airfield near Brackley if that's any help. Tip - no breakfast beforehand!

The Dogmother
Ooo, I bet that dog is gorgeous! Give him a big hug from me next time you see him (the dog that is, not your brother )
Popcorn
He is gorgeous Clare, but a real handful. Cockers are well known for their mischeivious personality..and Homer is no exception. He's about 8 weeks old now, and they are training him ...slowly! He did a great trick with the table cloth last time I was there. He managed to pull it out from underneath everything and nothing got spilt or knocked over

Louise
Whats wrong with that I had a cat called Bart he was a little s*d and it seemed appropriate unfortunately he was also a wanderer and only made it to his 3rd birthday before he found the wheels of a car I remember trying to type up a project when he was tiny and he wouldn't leave me alone I ended up typing one handed while playing with a toy in the other hand to get the peace I needed
