Alligators in our sewers!

Some of us remember it in black and white!:oops:

Who remembers all the names of the toys in the old Play School? I remember Hannah and Jemima....

I'm still sure that he's a lizard Kev - he's exactly the same as the one I had in the garden , I just wish I could remember what it was when I eventually found a picture.

Jemima was the ragdoll, I'm sure the conventional doll was Hamble :? , then there was big Ted & little Ted. Was there a Humpty too or am I imagining that?

Do you remember when they played the National Anthem at the end of transmission for the day, then the screen closed down to a white dot.

What sort of a name is Hamble??? I didn't like it then and I still don't now.

Then again, what's Iggle Piggle all about? Not to mention the Tongly Boos.

Well done Afamily, I think you've got all the Playschool gang there, and yes, there was a Humpty toy, very round /egg-shaped. He was my favourite

Well I will take your word for that Clare. I just thought Lizards needed sun to warm up the poor little mite will freeze to death down there.

I have had a google about and we only seem to have two indiginous species of lizard, (i find that hard to believe too) the common lizard and the sand lizard and Golloum looks not a lot like either unless he's a youngster or he's from a pet shop and got flushed down the bog somewhere

Proffesor Yaffle would know

I am feeling a bit better today too. I am still off though, I decided to write the rest of the week off.

To be honest I could have gone in yesterday and usually do when I get a cold as i don't get sick pay.

This has been a bit of a heavy one and I didn't want to infect the whole office most of whom are staff and do get paid sick.

I have agreed to mornings yesterday and today though because I am not getting enough sleep through all of the coughing

Cathy is having the same problem! Apparently I have been coughing for England in my sleep

I am starting to get an ear ache now too  I hope its just a congestion thing rather than an infection. Ear ache is way down on my list of favourite things.

Sorry to hear I have infected you both.

I had the earache for 24 hours a couple of days ago, it didn't last long luckily.

That wasn't the news I was hoping for!

There does seem to be a lot of it about at the moment, just think of all the poor passengers you must have infected through the recycle air system  You could have singlehandedly started a Pandemic

Only teasing :D

I am still in denial about the earache! It's still at the might not happen full on stage, but I will heed your advice and get some Sudafed in.

I normally treat earache with Jack Daniels.

I perforated an ear drum a few years ago, my 21st birthday to be precise when a bouncer decided to knock me out because he didn't like one of the lads I was out with. He did apologise to me though!

It turns out the bouncer was a good judge of character, last time I saw this lad (about a year ago) he was starring on Crime Watch and is now serving time for a multitude of sins including armed robbery  He seemed such a nice quiet lad at work.

So now if I get an ear infection it seems much worse than it used to. I don't know why as it healed up ok.

No earache here just horrible chest crusty nose and a dreadful cough don't like Jack Daniels but I did try the brandy cure for sleep last night

It worked for 3 hours but I was up at midnight and couldn't get back off again

Still I get to go home in half an hour 8)
