I tried crocs but I've got really narrow feet and they were just too wide. I needed something to wear for trips to and from the shower block on the camp site so bought these today.

 

They're called aqua shoes, I think they're for surfers!?? They were in a bargain bucket for £2!!!!! They're so comfy, I wish they'd had more in my size!

Little Miss Webmuppet uses those for dinghy sailing ( ok in a much smaller size) 'cause they don't slip on the bottom of boats and they are much cheaper than proper dinghy boots.

I trod on a slug barefoot once I tried on some croc type shoes today, still haven't managed to get to the shops to buy an original pair, I didn't buy the copies, but I got to see how they looked.. I went off in a huff because he'd run out of orange in my size!.. ... ahem!

LoopyLoo, Millets stock crocs instore as do John Lewis and Fenwick's if you want to try some on. Once you know if they fit alright you could probably get away with buying them online.

thanks for that ubereglu, I might try and head in to town tomorrow if I get chance. We have a millets in cambridge, but it's moved.. am trying to think where to.. I will find it though. We definately have a robert sayles which is a john lewis, have never quite understood why it's not just called john lewis
