FruitandNutCake
OK, not exactly the flitrap, but the spare sachets of powder that came with it. As the packaging smelt awful, and I didn't want to store it in the house, I put all the spare sachets in one of the thick plastic bags that the flitrap was packaged in. I then put it in the greenhouse. When I went to water my seedlings I was wondering what the awful smell was- and then noticed that something had chewed through the thick plastic bag, and chewed through two of the small plastic sachets and had eaten 2 of the contents, leaving some remaining scattered on my greehouse floor. Possibly the smell attracted a cat or a fox, mice or worse still: rats ? I've now put the rest in side 2 thick bags inside a plastic drawer ( one of those stacks on wheels) and hope that whoever likes eating it can't open the drawer! Just a warning to anyone who stores their spare sachets in a out building
Egluntyne
I have a theory that they attract something bigger. I have had two completely vanish. As they stink of rotting meat, I think Monsieur Reynard thought they were a tasty morsel and made off with them. My theory has had scorn poured on it, but I stand by it. FruitandNutCake
I now suspect a ginger tom cat (possibly ferral) as he seems to live behind the neighbour's out buildings and I spotted him lurking by the greenhouse! At least no rats! I'd rather have the cat around keeping the mice and rats down!
