Ok exhaustion and lack of food has brought me back into the house. (and its pitch black outside.)plus I've got a splitting headache with all this adrenaline pumping today and hubby has insisted on running me a bath!

:)

The girls are so amazingly settled, with the smallest and most timid one, Maude- the first to tackle those bloomin stairs to bed. Followed swiftly by our slightly bigger girl, Phyllis. OK with a little shove up the bum by hubby.

Now the real Phyllis and Maude were infact a pair of boobs (can I say this?)that belonged to a wonderful Welsh lady I knew in our street when I was growing up. She was a big buxom cook that use to make us kiddies lots of cakes and things and she use to make us all laugh 'cos she would talk to her boobies and call the bigger one Phyllis (apparently it was) and the other one Maude !

And despite the list of names we have had I cant believe those were the two names that popped into my head when I saw the girls!

Tomorrow we complete the flock as we drive to Suffolk to collect our 2 Pekins and miniature Wyandotte. All 6 months old so hopefully not too much fuss. Will post pics AND must show you the fantastic run Tony from 'Aviaries4you' put up for us today. All in one day!

OK today I am well and truly knackered!!!

BUT, we have the rest of our girls -plus one!!:D:D:D

The drive to Suffolk was long but we left early after walking the dogs feeding the cat and checking on our delightful Phyllis and Maude. (We really had a laugh with the Mrs D and Mrs C thing Ms Tilytinkle! Can you believe, it took me a few seconds to get what you meant  )

The girls were VERY pleased to see me and hubby and both launched themselves out of the cube towards us to see what we were doing, what we were going to do and what we had done!! Talk about friendly!

We now officially have Lilly (not so bad eh?) our beautiful lavender Pekin. Molly our gorgeous round silver birchen Pekin. OOOhh and Gwen the miniature gold partridge Wyandotte all around 28wks old. BUT as we were leaving, spotted Matilda the most dainty looking little lady all of 18 weeks old and a silver laced miniature Wyandotte! :)

Could'nt resist 'cos theres loads of room in the cube and run and the box we had would have made the journey far more comfortable for the other three if she was wedged in too :D:D So there!

I have no idea if we have just been plane lucky and its very early days yet, but there has been no trouble whatsoever and they are all currently cuddled up in one big bundle in the cube. Phyllis and Maude are the best of mates

Gwen Lilly and Molly all know each other anyway and seem quite happy with the 2 younger, tho' larger girls and Matilda, well shes a riot! Talk about introducing yourself!! Shes got a personality bigger than an ostrich!! No worries there!.

Lets see what tomorrow brings eh....I wont count my chickens yet so to speak

Will certainly post pics asap.

A happy Troy :D
