Poppies, foxgloves, aqueligia and some fantastic stags horns which came off next doors tree they get red fuzzy seeds/fruits and look great

.......same as most people, aquilegias, poppies, foxgloves, buddleia, also fennel.

 

I just noticed out the front of the house, which has old stone slabs right next to the road with no soil, a little calendula has appeared....it looks so cheerful when I come out of the gates!!

Like others Aquilegia (sp?) which are mutating into a rainbow of colours over the years. Various types of poppy and Hemp from the bird seed , my friend whos a policewoman nearly choked on her tea when she saw it! lol

We had a bird sown honeysuckle appear when we first arrived here and the garden was still a building site. It's long since gone sadly but has been replaced by countless aquilegias, poppies, forget me nots, elder plants (which LSH pulls up as we just don't have the space!) and violets. I love self seeded plants as they choose to live in your garden .

Ooh - we have a lovely Stags Horn from next door, I love it, it has such lovely shaped branches and it goes a brilliant colour in autumn.

 

Unfortunately over the last couple of years the original plant in the neighbours garden has been dying off - hope it doesn't upset them looking at our lovely young tree
