Chickvic
That's a definite buy then! Thanks!
dancing cloud
I have a tempur mattress that was very expensive (about £700 I think), but well worth it. I have had no problems with ridging (or anything else), it supports the body well and is by far and away the most comfortable thing to sleep on, especially if my arthritis is playing up. I really notice the difference when I go away and have to sleep on ordinary mattresses - can't wait to get back to my own bed. The two cats seem to find it very comfortable too, but I haven't yet surveyed the chickens on the subject
ajm200
John Lewis do extra deep fitted sheets for about 20 quid. We have a tempur mattress and I love it. It's so comfy that I finding that I've been laying on my front overnight even though I'm 6 months pregnant! It just adapts to accomodate my bump. When I was expecting my son we still had a conventional mattress and I had a terrible time getting comfy at night and woke up repeatedly. I also had terrible hip and back pain. This time I sleep soundly and very little discomfort
AJuff
I don't have a memory foam mattress but I do have a memory foam pillow. It was like sleeping on a brick for the first few weeks but I persisted and it's fantastic. Couldn't be without it now. Also my recurring shoulder problem has completely gone ! Magic! The Dogmother
I have used some of my Omlet course money (have been stashing it away)to buy myself a memory foam topper. I got one of the 2" ones from Roseby for £59.99. They didn't have one in our local store, so I bought it online. I have a very firm mattress, which I love, but it does sometimes make my hips achey; I love my bed, so this will be the icing on the cake!
