Guest Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Just before the end of Big Brother tonight, chookiehubbie jumped up and ran to the patio doors shouting ( probably a fairly normal reaction to some of the housemates.....). I went over to see what he was shouting about, and floating accross the sky was this thing We've no idea what it was, and it was difficult to see how far away it was, but it looked like a balloon, but rather strangly, it appeared to be on fire. We watched it float about in the distance for about 5 minutes, trying to work out what it actually was, before it disappeared into the clouds. Slightly confused by the whole thing..... I have a friend who works at the met dept at a local RAF base, he has told us that some of the sightings of UFO's are just weather balloons. Sounds like a hot air balloon, with it's flame on to give more lift, passing. They drift at current windspeeds, different ones at different altitudes, usually.
