AussieChick
Hi - this is my first post so hello everyone! Our girls and Blue Eglu arrived today! It's been a long wait - I've wanted Chooks for about 12 years so I am chuffed! We've gone for 2 Pepperpots ( Hermione and Harriet) and one Gingernut ranger (Ronnie). When they arrived one of them had already laid an egg in their travel box!! We are pretty sure that it was Hermione's as her bottom was very swollen (!) and her wattles were very red! Anyway, it is so late and we've got to be up early to get the girls up so I'll close now but I am looking forward to picking your brains for advice as the days go by! dancing cloud
Hello and welcome to the forum. Twelve years is a long wait - I was chewing the sofa waiting two months for my Cube One of my ex-batts laid me an egg on the way home too and all the others gave me an egg on their first day. I think they know there's a good home coming and they save them up specially! You do realise your life will never be the same agin, don't you?
