Treekeeper
My parents live in spain for part of the year and they recently received a letter from a time share company inviting them to a presentation on timeshare in a hotel at the coast the reward for sitting through the talk was a portable flat screen TV. Slightly unusual as they already have a house why would they need timeshare? Even stranger they received six more letters from the same company inviting them to presentations on different dates. Never one to miss an opportunity my dad & mum went to the first one armed with lots of water sat through the talk refused to sign anything, but walked out with the TV. In the square that night at the local taverna my dad explained to his mates all builders some Spanish some Brits what had happened and that he had six more invites..........So over the next six days he attended the presentations each time with half a dozen builders and each time got a flat screen tv which he gave to each of the group in turn so at the end of it they all had a free tv. The timeshare mob were not happy but they'd invited him in the fist place Scammers scammed or what???

Treekeeper
Mind you he's always been a rumbunctious old sod.I remember when we were kids on holiday in Spain a timeshare tout walked up to my Mum holding the usual raffle ticket and when she politely declined he said how do you know you don't want it if you haven't effin looked at it yet you silly old uddered animal. My Dad just walked up behind him and picked him up by the neck and threw him off the prom into the sea I don't know who was more shocked us kids or the timeshare guy.
