foreveryoung
oh my goodness what a start to the morning!! I had a phone call at 5 to 6 am normally I would have ignored the mobile but I didnt and it turned out to be a girl I met at baby massage. saying that a man has called her asking if she has lost her whallet! it turns out to be mine! n e way she gives me his number to which I call! and he said he found it on the m20. (I must of left the whallet on top of my car that afternoon and Noel must havenot seen it b4 he got in the car to drive on the m20 to his railway club)He asked me if I want him to post it and I said no but asked him if I could meet him and pick it up and asked where he was!it turns out that he was driving to london! I though not london!!! I not driven n e where near london!!!! I am terrified to drive though or near london lol........................ He was nearly at clakets lane services which I think is a 30 min drive from me so he arranged to meet him there! I had to drag the kids out of their beds (all this happening within 15 mins of the original phone call!!!!) Jake would not wake up but who could blame him (you know he gonna be a sod to wake for school when he older lol) chuck them in the car (not litrally lol) and drive to somewhere I never even been b4!!! I was so worried that I was gonna get lost!!! well I didnt!! lol n e way met him collected the whallet, I did offer him the £10 that was in it for finding and returning it to me! He didnt have too.!! but he said no so I thanked him with a lil hug and we went on our ways! The whallet itslef isnt too messed up the zip bit has come off and it looks alittle tatty but still in good working order lol so I think I will keep hold of it as not many whallets get back to their owners and with all its contents.................. plus it must be lucky as I have so much to do today bday pressys to get etc................ thought I would let you know all the best ps a years car tax was in it too!!!! no other way to put it but "bloomin' lucky to get it back" little adjustment by Buffie Emma xx Ps then I came home to let the girls out lol I got another 5 eggs lol (had to put a lil bit bout the chickens lol)

Cate in NZ
Oh wow Emma, what a shock first thing in the morning Such good news that he was a good, honest chap. It kind of restores your faith in human nature doesn't it when you hear positive stories like this. I know Clacketts fairly well, pass it regularly on my trips around the southern bit of the M25, you're obviously in my part of the world I've got to admit though your story had me ever so slightly anxious, I'm thrilled it all worked out well for you, but I do hope that you'd taken measures to protect your personal safety I'm sorry to even sound like I'm casting doubts on your hero of the hour, who was quite clearly one of the worlds' very many good guys.... but he might so easily not have been Sorry, I get a bit Mrs Paranoid from time to time, and I don't want to sound too much of a worry wart on such a heart-warming story
