RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park This Weekend

Recommended Posts

Jules - that is a shame!

Eglutine - I've never done it either! I'm planning on taking waterproofs and a change of clothes and shoes in the boot (maybe - if I get organised!)

Also a flask and some snacks to keep me going. I've had a peek BBC weather (Knutsford) No rain forecast until Saturday. Hopefully you will be ok!

:D Me and my husband are going to be there ( as visitors) on Saturday!

We'll look out for you and say hello.

All the best with your stand and the weather! I only live about 15 minutes away from the park and I think the weather forecast is okay but what do they know!

See you on Saturday !

Love Mrs P

xxx :D:D

Sorry to have missed you Ms Marple. I had gone to get a cup of tea whan you called by.

Lovely to see Chocchick and her mum.

It was a geat day. Bloomin' hard work though!

I was with George form Omlet and his wife Lesley.

Hardly got to talk to them though as we were soooo busy!

The interest was enormous.

The event is very well organised, and so much to see.

To anyone helping...take several bottles of water. You get very thirsty talking to so many people, and today was particularly hot and busy so I was parched.

To buy there, a small bottle of Buxton water was a staggering £1.90

Also....take your own sandwich...the price of the food there is equally gobsmacking.

Take a hat as the sun is very strong and there is no shade on the stand.

Also some factor 30!

On the way there I saw a calf being born. I stopped at the lights in Peak Forrest, a village I pass through on the way to Manchester.

As the lights changed I happened to glance into a field and thought, "what is up with that cow?" She was bellowing, and her tail was up. Next thing, a calf slithered out!. She calmly turned round and began to clean it up, and it was stirring. Astonishing.
