Sandychick
This morning I found a white egg in the nest box but I am a bit confused as I thought all mine did brown eggs. My pepperpot has been laying for a week and does light brown eggs, gingernut does dark brown eggs (in photo) and my Amber Star hasn't started laying yet but I think the white egg might be her first one?? But I thought Amber Stars did brown eggs??? Any suggestions? I'd love the white eggs to continue but could this just be a one off?
Egluntyne
How lovely. I bet it is the Amber Star's egg. My friend has one and she lays white eggs. I'm hoping that my Amber Link will do the same.
Electricbarbarella
well my amber link and my white atsr are virtually identical so it wouldn't supprise me if the ambers lay white.

Electricbarbarella
yopur amber will be from the same batch as mine won't it egultine? mine is virtually white and hard to tell apart as the white start usually has poo on her wing.
Sandychick
It's strange because when I got Willow, I was going to get a White Star because I wanted white eggs. Willow was such a mad fun chicken that I couldn't resist her so took her home instead forgoing the white egg idea! I'm soo happy about this white egg!
