Yolky
hills where I am getting my mesh is out of stock of the 1in x 1 in 16guage mesh. They do have 1in by 1/2 in 16 gage...... Can you still see in this well? Is 16 g really necessary? I did think that the smaller holes may be better as nothing at all not even a mouse could get in????? it is £29 more though

chooklady
We bought the 1/2" x 1" mesh from them also. They were out of stock of 1 x 1 when we wanted to order. I asked a similar question and most people seemed to use the 1.6mm mesh, it is very sturdy. Although our run is not yet finished from what is there I think you can see through it fine. I was also a bit upset that I was going to have to pay more but they are a lot cheaper than other places and they deliver very quickly. Be warned the 30m roll is extremely heavy.and wear gloves when you move it, the edges are sharp.

Scottie
We also got the 1 x 1/2 stuff and have been very pleased with it. As said above, it's very heavy and you'll need decent wire cutters. Sheila
