When my chickens are settled I was thinking of making a walk in run I dont think it will be as fancy as yours though! I hope your new hens are enjoying there new home! MedusA Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 I've used my run as supports for my tomatoes too. I also have a lovely nasturtium winding it's way up the mesh. Next year I might plant more climbers. Has anyone ever tried planting a green roof on their chicken runs? I've wondered about trying it, but I'm concerned the weight would be too much. OH thinks it is October Great news Christian Mine are settling in nicely......well,I THINK they are,from what I can see from my rain streaked windows! New Willow (we replaced her) is young,but is aboue the 2 Columbines in the pecking order.
