craftyhunnypie
It was my dads 60th birthday, so we'd organised a few surprises. Yesterday we drove to Burton on Trent & he had a helicoptor lesson - in one of those bubble type helicopters. It look fabulous. I'd like a go myself. Dad dissappeared into the clouds & became a little dot in the sky. We were relieved when he came back safely, after flying over a reservoir & some stately homes. We then went back to my sisters & had a little lunch sat in the garden with the chickens. Called in at Craeg Mhor Poultry & collected 2 ...2 day old chicks (sexed) to go with lonely little Poppet that I hatched. I got a black rock - called Heli & a goldline - called Anneka. Then dropped mum & dad off back home. In the evening, I drove to mum & dads - parked my car hidden up another street to avoid questions. Then we all went in a white stretched Limousine to Rusholme (Manchester) to the curry mile & had a lovely meal in a great restaurant. Then home again afterwards in the limo. A brilliant day! Dad, just can't take it all in! Emma.x

Ms Marple
My school (and that of my boys, well only the youngest now), is just down from the Curry Mile in Fallowfield. Haven't been for a little while as we've kept chosing Greek of late, but you have made me think....... Happy birthday to your dad!! I need to get my thinking hat on as it is my parents' Golden Wedding anniversary next March and then my oldest son's 21st in July. Any bright ideas most welcome.
