Fur 'n' Feathers
We have the Omlet netting with flexible poles, which is excellent. One of the things we noticed is that it appears to be possible to use it as an electrified fencing , as it has wire thread running through it and metal tags at one end. We've asked Omlet if it can be converted to electric and we've just got the response back that it can with a battery available from any supplier, eg. B&Qs. Has anyone tried this already, or have something similar How effective is it? Foxwatch would not be suitable for us as there is so much wildlife in our garden & we don't want to deter it - just keep potential foxes off the chickens And our neighbour, who is currently converting some scrub to a small vineyard, has discovered & dismembered a den with a couple of young foxes (one of them visiting our garden early one morning as a result
Gamebird
Hi Fur'n'Feathers You might find it useful to read *this* thread which tells you about what you will need etc. I have found it 100% effective against foxes and as we live near a water course I suspect we have mink (I have seen one or two) and the fencing would keep them out as well. Fur 'n' Feathers
Many thanks Gamebird. It answers everything! Hadn't seen this thread as we had a month of building renovation work to distract us from the forum.

ubereglu
I know that Lesley uses it as electric fencing, so if you get stuck I'm sure she'd be willing to help.
