One Man Banned
I have made a momentous decision today - I have decided to part with one of my most treasured possessions. It was lovely to have him around me for the time we have had but the end of the line has come and I am quite sad to say that we are no more What there was between us has dimished into nothingness and he's taking up a big part of my life that I need back now. I already have something else to take me where I need to be and show me the world. It's a pity that he never got to meet you all but alas it wasn't meant to be. I just hope that I can get a good price for him. NO It's not JOE!!! I'm selling Wesley Wedge my little Volvo 480. Got to be clear of him before the company car comes / or we get a diesel to run on used chip fat. I've put him on Ebay here so please have a look and do feel free to place a bid Still my mind is made up Unless.........How much for Joey anyway
Mrs Frugal
Andrew you had me so worried then ! Can't afford another car at the moment but good luck on Ebay - hope you get loads for him!
Paola
My first bereavement as a child was our Ford Anglia called Thunderbird. Plastic seats that your legs used to stick to in the summer. I will never forget standing at the window watching her being taken away. I really cried. It took me a while to get over it. Sincerest sympathies Andrew
Mrs Frugal
Ours was an Austin Westminster called Wessie with brown leather seats, walnut picnic tables and a tan and fawn paint job. She was towed away for £15 for banger racing - my brother and I cried buckets!

Beauty-Box
My first car was a Renault 11 called Penny. I cried when she failed the MOT, and had to sell her for s"Ooops, word censored!"! But now I have a Vauxhall astra SXi. I haven't given this one a name though (any suggestions?).
Cinnamon
What colour is it Beauty-Box? We are looking at getting a new car at the moment. We have a lovely Mercedes now,but its looking a little shabby & I really want a smaller car, something fun & a pretty colour too Maybe a citroen C1 or a Fiat,or possibly a Clio. Hubby cannot understand why I want a pretty car this time, but after driving something that looks like a taxi I am now in the mood for something a bit more girly & frivalous! Isn't Andrews car doing well on ebay,by the way!
