Cinnamon
I thought I was being so clever When I Ivomec my hens I do half the flock at a time,so,with the 1 week withdrawl for eggs,we still get some eggs to eat. But,I just dosed the second half of the flock yeasterday & the hens whose eggs I can now use HAVE ALL GONE INTO MOULT Thats 3 hens, all in moult,& the only 3 whose eggs I could have used. You couldn't make it up!
cluckbok
Hi ya, Have you thought about switching to something like Verm-x, it's organic and there's no withdrawal period. Oh no we would miss our eggs, you do begin to rely on them don't you?
Egluntyne
I used Vermex for a while. Unfortunately my hens got infested with worms whilst on it so I am not particularly impressed with it. Just a personal opinion. Bad luck Cinnamon. If you'd like to pop over to Sheffield, I'm drowning in eggs at the mo, so I could certainly spare you half a doz. Best laid plans and all that. Cinnamon
Ah,thanks Egluntine, but we can manage for a week. We do still have the odd Bantie egg to keep us going, even if they are teeny And after usuing Ivomec,I could never go back to a more conventional worming product. It treats all lice too & as far as I am concerned,is the bees knees
