Egluntyne
Make a banana loaf instead.
stoice
Mine love them - even with dirt from their run stuck to them! I wouldn't give too many in case they get the squits though.
quickcluck
mine love them too! maybe make a cake with some and give the rest to your chooks!
Olly
I chop them into chunks and throw them in, peel and all ... it all disappears! I agree though that too many might not be good for the digestion.
Jen&Rog
I'd make a banoffee pie (recipe on BBC website, but go easy of the sugar unless you want diabetes). My hens aren't keen on bananas 'cos they get sticky beaks, fussy girls.
iar fach goch
all 3 of mine go crazy for bananas, they get devoured instantly. If I have too many browning bananas I just slip a couple into my oh's lunchbox as he doesn't really notice what he's eating when he's at work!!! surferdog
You can chop the bananas and freeze them (1 banana per bag). You can then use them straight from frozen in smoothies and milk shakes.

jools+6
after reading this thread i rushed downstairs and chopped up two ripe bananas for the girls . they looked at me as if i was mad , turned their snooty beaks up and went back to s"Ooops, word censored!"ing for worms however , for some reason , i got sent two cos lettuces from our organic supplier this week . do you think they would eat one of those ? we'll never eat two and they're usually full of blinking greenfly so that would be extra protein
