Snowy
I think my perfect cuppa makes most people gag Teabag in cup and pour on boiling water. Go away to do jobs and forget about tea. Half an hour later, remember tea, remove teabag after squeezing well. Add tiny drop of milk. Drink. Perfect.
Franksmum
That sounds like a nice cuppa Snowy. We have pint mugs, Yorkshire Tea bags & a drop of milk. No sugar. At the weekends as a special treat we get the beautiful glass Tea Palace teapot out and use Yorkshire Tea Leaves, milk in cups first. Lovely!! Cate in NZ
Most of the time I drink Rooibos tea, made with a bag, in a mug and with the milk added after. But when we're having a "proper" cuppa it has to be leaves, in a pre-warmed teapot, freshly boiled water, left to mash for 5-10mins. Always milk first . I prefer to drink it out of a mug though, tea cups and saucers are too fiddly and just not big enough for a decent cuppa. Who was it who said they had a Bridgewater teapot? I,ve been coveting one of those for ages, but could never quite justify the expense. I love her stuff . One of these days I'll indulge myself
Couperman
My perfect cuppa.......... Open cupboard, fetch pint glass, place on the worktop near the kettle. Open Fridge, fetch can of beer, crack open, carefully pour it into previously readied glass, forget about the kettle, teapot and the like. Consume contents of glass, repeat as necessary, fall asleep on couch, feel not so well the day after. Kev.

ali-s
Punjana teabag in a teapot, pour on boiling water (about 3/4 of a pint) and let it mash for 3 minutes. A splash of Lacto free milk into a large mug and add one and a bit teaspoons of sugar, pour tea into mug and give a good stir. This tea is perfect if made by OH and accompanied with a hob "Ooops, word censored!"

Guest
This tea is perfect if made by OH and accompanied with a hob "Ooops, word censored!" I like my tea stronger than a Welsh miner, so the pot gets warmed, two tea bags are chucked in, it's filled and covered with a tea cosy (you can't make tea without a pot and a teacosy!), and left to mask while I feed Squidger, then poured into a chicken mug and enjoyed - no sugar, no milk, no biscuits. PERFECT!
