Warm boot recommendations please

Just wondered if anyone else was experiencing the problem we are having with the plastic roosting bars being too short, and not resting on the side mouldings of the Cube correctly. As soon as any weight is applied to the bars, ie a chicken, they slip down into the poo trays.

I have tried wedging something to keep them level, but this is not too successful. has anyone any suggestions please ?

One of mine does this too. I moan when I see it then forget about it.

 

I do a lot of forgetting nowdays!

mine does it, but I find if I put a stick wedged down on the nest box end of the bars, they stay up no problem.

Mine are like this - it is quite annoying.

I think I would ring omlet if it was me TBH , considering the price of the plastic bars I would want them to be perfect.

Mine are also too short and I have only just bought two sets... one for each cube.

I have the exact same problem.

 

I contacted Omlet as soon as I realised there was a problem and they asked me to send them photos, which I did.

 

This was 5 weeks ago and I am still awaiting a reply - infact now you have reminded me, I will give them another call on Monday.

 

The chickens have got used to them falling off the ledge now, but that's not the point considering the price

Mine fit fine, but I'm with Chelsea - ring Omlet and/or send them back and get it sorted . They cost too much not to fit properly and they are a real bonus when they do fit.
