Lesley Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 You could have a look at one plant of the first earlies - depends how small you like your new potatoes? Put the fork under them carefully and have a look - if they are far too small you should be able to pat it all back down and leave them to grow a bit more.
