Angels4
There has been a shift in the pecking order a "coup" if you will. Truvy has taken over being top chook from Ouiser and it has ALL the girls running scared. Especially Ouiser. When Ouiser was tops she would occasionally peck at the others tail feathers. The "new" regime lead by Truvy is far more viscous as she is going for the head and neck. If she doesn't watch her step she will find herself in "exile". Ain't Nobody Here
How fascinating . Why does the pecking order suddenly change, I wonder ? By the way, does "trouble at mill" mean anything over the pond ?

By the way, does "trouble at mill" mean anything over the pond ? I'm not sure why it would change so suddenly, but I was thinking it might have to do with the fact I blocked the nest box with a football last night (tired of pooh on the eggs) and maybe she had "a feather across her butt". She really is making it known that SHE is in charge though. "Trouble at mill"?! Sounds familiar. we say "Trouble at the old mill".
