likeastar--x
After two weeks we gave up and took my pekin bantam chick to the vets. it turns out she has a dislocated leg that wasnt corrected early enough. the vet said she was probably in a lot of pain, but because shes eating and drinking normally she left the decision to put her down with us. i decided to give it 2 weeks and if shes unhappy then we will put her to sleep. Guest
We have a lame ex batt but because she was an ex batt, we decided she deserved a chance at life; lame or not. Try some apple cider vinegar in her water and see if she'll eat some cherries; both are good for joint problems. I'm sure you'll be able to judge from her behaviour what kind of quality of life she'll have. Good luck, she might just turn a corner. Fingers x'd for you xxx
