I have finally after nearly 21 weeks of waiting got my first 3 egg day!! Yipee!! I think all of my neighbours must have heard me shouting.

Do you know what? I actually think it was even more exciting than the first one because I have waited so long. My poor husband came in from a bike ride and he barely got through the door before I dragged him into the kitchen to look at the 3 eggs in the bowl

 

He was even excited and 'high fived' me and of course I have taken photos of the 3 eggs

Jackie, DD looked at me with one of those "oh mother" looks when I was screaming about having 3 eggs

 

I will hold my hands up and admit I haven't made her birthday cake although I did make a syrup cake on Friday. I'm no good at icing so thats my excuse!
