Cinnamon
Found the recipe at last,so here it is for those who said they wanted to try it. There is a very similar version in Nigellas Christmas book too Chilli Jam 125g Dutch red Chillies, cored ,seeded & roughly chopped 1 Red Pepper, roughly chopped 100ml White Vinegar 500g caster Sugar Place chillies, pepper & vinegar in a blender & whizz until finely diced Pop this mix into a saucepan, add the sugar & bring to the boil. Reduce heat & simmer for 10 mins, remove & allow to cool. The mixture should have a thick & sticky consistency, similar to jam. Its great with cold meats, spring rolls, roast chicken or added to sir fry

Mrs Webmuppet
I made the one in Nigella's book, it was a little runny, a bit like the chilli dipping sauce from the super market. Tested it on OH, who declared it very good.

chickencam
Are Dutch chillies the fat Jalepeno type of thin thai type?
Cinnamon
The ones I use are sort of finger sized - not the very skinny ones. I guess the Jalapeno?
