kez
My two aren't particularly bothered about treats - which is good. They have a peck at it but only really eat the marmite on toast (yuk!). As a lot of you say how much your hens like raisins I thought I give it a try. I put about eight in a bowl and put it on the ground. Liberty came over to have a look. One very quick peck for each raisin and the lot were in her beak! Melody was there within seconds but didn't get a look in. How many raisins can one chicken get in her beak? I got a few more raisins and gave them to Melody while Liberty was looking the other way. Melody took one out but dropped it on the floor. She didn't get a second chance - Liberty had the lot! In the end I shut Liberty in the run and gave Melody a few more. Liberty was going absolutlely loopy - running up and down the run. I felt so guilty about shutting her in, I let her out. She ran like a torpeedo to Melody and scoft the remaining raisins. I wish I had got my camera out. The neighbours must of wondered what on earth was going on - we were all laughing our heads off
Purplemaniacs
Wish you had videoed it Ours didn't really get into treats until they started to lay. Having read on the forum what girls liked, I was very disappointed when they weren't interested but once they started to lay it all changed Chrissie
